The Princess Mononoke stage adaptation has opened in London to sell-out performances and rave reviews. The play’s puppets and costumes are made out of recycled material, reflecting Miyazaki’s environmental message.
There’s a princess mononoke stage adaptation? O.o
Do want.
Some friends of mine went to this, apparently it was awesome *grrrr* :)

Because uploading a photoset of my own character on a LARP blog that I run is kind of arrogant, posting it here instead.
Tim “xMoshPitx” Vigil, Nation of Accensor Priest of the King’s Court (religion based around music) and Martial Artist. Pictures by Katherine Chartier and andsowesoar.tumblr.com. Arranged in chronological order of when they were taken. The addition of the words on the face was done as part of the “change” that Accensorites start to undergo, where they become more “angelic” or take on traits that relate to their religion. Song lyrics seemed appropriate enough for Court. I get to add another next game :D
Dystopia Rising is awesome. Anyone with the chance to try it out should take it.
Found this, didn’t make it.
But GOD did it make me giggle :P

Just an example of body shaming against men that crossed my Facebook.

Why is he smoking when he has Straight Edge Tattoos on his hands.

Slenderman Rant
I’ve been a fan of Slenderman videos since the summer between Seasons 1 and 2 of Marble Hornets. I wasn’t around when it started per-say, but I have been following MH and a few other major Slendy series for quite some time. Recently, I’ve noticed a drop-off in quality amongst a lot of them, which disappoints me.
Looking back at all the Slenderman series that I’ve seen, I think I’ve realized the reason why Marble Hornets has succeeded at staying effective while EverymanHybrid and TribeTwelve have gone off the rails into absurdity.
MH stayed simple and didn’t go too batshit, whereas the other two have added far too many elements to the mix to the point where they’ve gotten silly and almost cartoonish. Adding additional antagonists, too many characters, and just badly executing plot elements has completely destroyed any quality they once had.
